If you are familiar with this blog you will know that my biggest issue right now is discipline, and
following in line with that I need to start getting up earlier and daily.
So I discussed this with hubby, and guess what!!! He agreed to get up with me!! I was so
excited, he wants to help me change, and is being supportive!
A little hard work, and determination really do pay off.
how early is earlier? Anything before 7AM should be non-negotiable.

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that its just so wonderful to see people allowing God to guide them in their daily lives! Discipline is a hard thing, even when it concerns God. Sometimes its hard for me to drag myself to church or Ill forget to give my worries up to Him or even not praying when I should. Sometimes its the small things that help us get back on track, even getting up earlier :)
ReplyDeleteI dont know how long you have been married. Im celebrating my 9th anniversary in 6 days Yay! One thing my mom told me about marriage when I was growing up and you may have heard it before. Never go to bed to mad. Seems simple enough and yet the hardest thing I do sometimes lol I always make sure no matter what, even if I feel its all his fault (you know the ladies are always right! lol) I make sure to tell him how much I love him, that Im sorry for fighting that day and that he means the world to me and give him a kiss. I know this doesnt always work but its worked for me. My husband and I met 13 yrs ago and on the 12th of this month it will be 9 yrs and it only seems like yesterday that we got married. Time really does fly when youre having fun :)

Glad to hear that you're having some success. Have you picked up a copy of "The Love Dare?" It may be helpful. I, however, waited too late to buy it and my husband of almost nine years has moved out. But it may help you.
